hey, i'm effie!

this website was originally created as a place for me to document my tamagotchi logs. i just wanted somewhere cool to show off my babies. i hope that over time this website will become more than just tama logs (i'd love to share my writing, my favorite media, my textile projects & other things). for now, let's consider it an ongoing work in progress.

if you're curious to know who i am, i'm a (nearly) 30-something-year-old perpetual student, making her way through life. i like to write (poetry and flash fiction, mostly), play the sims (2 & 4, occasionally 3) & spend all night at 24-7 coffee shops. if i had to describe myself in a word it would be: dabblenaut (meaning: a hobby-hopping space cadet).

• if i were a tamagotchi, i would be a gemtchi
• i have strong opinions on most condiments (i am a huge bbq sauce superiority truther)
• i am a gemini (yes, one of those geminis)
• orange is my least favorite color
• if i could only eat one dish for the rest of my life, it would be a medium spicy crawfish boil (with extra eggs)
